Jared Platt in the UK with CRU’s ToughTech Duo

Here’s a little video I put together for jared platt. I filmed some of it and i edited the whole thing.

Dream Big with Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband!

Here is a video I made for the Bright Beginnings Charter School when their children’s choir sang with Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband while they were playing in Gilbert, AZ. I have another video form this show on the way but it’s a few weeks out!

Slideshow for Trajen

Photographer Jared Platt documented this amazing journey and sent me a slideshow asking me to add motion, titles, video effects etc. this is what I gave back to him. Again, he took the photos put them in order, and chose the music. I moved the pictures to make them more emotionally effective.

Slideshows!

I made a few different slideshows last year. Here is one that i did for Sheena. They wanted to showcase how much fun they had as a family and play the video at her wedding! Congratulations!

EDIT: I Removed this one. Since then i have made a few more but am sending them without public posting!

AZ Railway Museum!

Here is a fun little project i did last summer.

A local photographer brought me a hard drive a footage and told me to make this into something. He was very happy with the results. When the project was over i was so done with trains for a while. HA HA!

TetherTools Cameo!

Last year I worked with TetherTools and St. Jepan Media, to help create some new video featuring the amazing line of TetherTools products. I tend to visit TT every couple months and see if there is something i can help them with or they can help me with. I have been working with them since my first year or so at Snapfactory.

I chose this out of the many videos that came out of the project because you can see me in the video. I’m in there a few times but i look pretty official at 2:47!

A fun little failure.

During one month, when work was a little light. I decided to do a little experiment and setup a new Youtube page and produce a short fact video everyday. I called it KnowYourStuff, and i mined fact website and public domain images and video clips along with stock music and video that i already owned. The videos were underperforming to my standards and were not very welcome on their respective Reddit forums. (Reddit doesn’t like when you post something you own, but feel free to get +1’s for other peoples work) After three weeks or so i decided to shut down production, and i left it at that. A Fun Little Failure.

Joel Grimes – Start To Finish

Another project that i worked on last year, was putting together some of Joel Grimes work into a video workshop series. He sells these on his website, so i cannot post them here, but you can head over to His Site to see them! Joel shot all his own segments and handed them over to me for a little editing and motion design magic!

While he now has some in-house help making his series, it was a lot of fun to come up with ideas and work with Joel to get these videos off the ground.

Butterfly Wonderland

One of the places i went last year to take photos was Butterfly Wonderland in Scottsdale, AZ. I’m not going to post a gallery or anything, but here is my favorite picture from the short trip.

So Macro. Such Focus.

Profoto Live Webinars

One of the things that I began doing at my last real job was helping to produce Live workshops with Mark Wallace for Profoto, an amazing lighting company that make top of the line photography lights and modifiers. When Mark shut down Snapfactory and passed the torch to Jared Platt, I went along and began producing the shows for Jared and continuing to work with our friends at Profoto. I made roughly one a month all of last year with the exception of a couple vacation months.

Producing profoto

To see some of the webinars that I made with Jared Platt for Profoto, you can head over to their Youtube Page. In this case I linked directly to the playlist of shows that i worked on. They started with Mark Wallace and finished up with Jared Platt. I have been continuing to work with Jared and Profoto, but more about that in the coming months.
